Our Philosophy

Gita Art Publication Welfare Trust believes in spreading the spiritual Knowledge of Sanatana dharma and considers Bhagvat Gita (Song of God) as the heart of Vedic scriptures. Bhagvat Gita also known as Gitopanis?ad is the essence of all the Vedic Knowledge, Upanishads and Vedanta.

the king of all education, the purest of all and the most confidential of all the secretsThis inexhaustible spiritual jewel is the source of all wisdom as declared by Lord Krishna Himself in the Gita (Chp9.2) "the king of all education, the purest of all and the most confidential of all the secrets". Lord Krishna considers the knowledge of Gita as a necessity for this universe and revealed it firstly unto the sun-god and then handed down this supreme science through regular disciplic succession. Ganges River which emanates from the lotus feet of the Lord possess the immense power of absolving our sinful activities then what to speak of Bhagvat Gita that is coming directly from lotus lips of Lord Krishna. Although we may cleanse our sins by taking a bath in sacred water of Ganga, but it does not liberate us from the incessant cycle of birth and death of this material world. However, if one ever dives in the sacred words of Bhagvat Gita for him the dirt of material life is altogether vanquished. Therefore Bhagvat Gita is at the centre our philosophical values and Gita Art Publication Welfare Trust has always been on the forefront in spreading the spiritual wisdom of Bhagvat Gita. Bhagavad Gita is the essential nectar of the Mahabharata. In a divine conversation between Lord Shri Krishna and Arjuna, Lord lucidly expounds the path of devotion and self realization for the mankind. The scene of the battlefield in Bhagavad-Gita is replicated in our lives today, where wavering of Arjuna exemplifies that of an ordinary individual entangled in materialistic desires. Arjuna resides within each one of us because we all have to fight our own wars of lives. Lord Krishna being our charioteer guides us to win our wars and thus Gita is considered as a practical, self-contained guide to life.

The path of spiritual realization is undoubtedly difficult. Lord Krishna therefore advises us in Gita (Chp 4.34) "to approach a bona fide spiritual master (Sat guru) who has seen the truth". Having spiritual master or guru is a prerequisite for spiritual realization and we believe that without the care of the spiritual master one cannot elevate to the plane of transcendental service. Spiritual master (satguru) is an external manifestation of Krishna delivering the eternal message of Supreme Personality to the disciples without any personal adulteration. The fundamental principal of Gurudeva is of universal application thus there does not arise any question of discriminating one guru against the other. We respect and venerate all the Sat Gurus irrespective of their belonging to different sects, countries or Sampardayas. Singularity of Guruship is an ideology which originates directly from Lord Krishna when He solemnly declared to Udhav that "One should know the acharaya (guru) as Myself and never disrespect him in any way" (Bhag 11.17.27). Hence key facet of our philosophy is based on propagating the slogan of "Guru is one "to eliminate the needless differences from the society. Our param guru Srila Prabhupada also validated the same belief when he said "there is only one guru, who appears in infinite forms trying to teach you, me and all others " (SSR, pp70-71). Bona fide spiritual master or Satguru leads the disciples to the path of liberation. Achieving such liberation (Moksha) is the ultimate mission of our lives which can only be accomplish through unalloyed devotion and taking shelter under the lotus feet of Lord Krishna as stated by Lord Himself in Bhagvat Gita (Chp18.66) "to abandon all varieties of mundane affairs and surrender unto Him without fear". Only surrender will save us from all kinds of sinful reactions of this world. The easiest way of surrendering to Krishna in this age of Kaliyug is to chant the glories of Lord Krishna and spread this sublime message to others as rendered by Lord Shri Chaitanya five hundred years ago.

Gita Art Publication Welfare Trust has been living its philosophical values proudly because it's not the creation of our fallible mind, rather it has been handed down to us through a unbroken chain of self realized spiritual masters beginning from Lord Krishna Himself. Thus there cannot be any doubt about the divine message we strive to spread for spiritually fulfillment.
